My friend was recently arrested for drink driving. When he went to the police station he blew 48 micrograms on the breathalyzer. I have read online that if you blow between 40 micrograms and 50 micrograms then you have to be offered a urine or blood test. If you are not offered a blood test is this grounds for a defence or having the charges thrown out of court?
