Ha, I had wondered how Halloween (or Samhain, as it had been renamed here) would be treated in this show's universe. The holiday's even more watered down with political correctness than it is in real life, and the demons treat it like Thanksgiving.
One aspect of Ugly Americans that I find interesting is how the demons (the upper management ones, anyway) always seem to have these hidden agendas and magnanimous plans for humanity and society in general, whereas all the other creatures just live on Earth like everyone else. Just something I've noticed. And I've also wondered where the gods are in this universe since there are demons.
The subplot with Leonard trying to sell the possessed house was odd, but funny. It was interesting twist on the Amityville Horror formula: no one's ever thought to ask the house how it feels.
