UGH I need to find a used, low mileage, good Toyota, Honda, Mazda or Nissan

i would say either toyota or mazda. my parents have a '96 mazda protege and it still works like GOOD! mazda well over time the engine starts to rumble but i have no problem with it... toyota: i would subsribe u the toyota prius HYBRID because it runs on electricity and gas plus for 30,000 and above pretty good price. i would choose the mazda 6 because it's cheap, well designed, and it comes in a good price. for toyota i would choose for my second the toyota camry, toyota corolla, or the toyota yaris or the toyota matrix. the toyota matrix is a "mini suv" aka it's a whole lotta space more than a regular car but little smaller than the suv.
 
Not sure where you live but the newspapers might help out a bit.
Try one during the week and the sunday paper's classifieds.

No one can trust the dealerships, it is not just you, however, if you choose to buy outside of one, pay attention to how the person requests to be paid.

Not sure how far you are willing to travel for a car but LOOK
on ebay and see if there are any sales of cars that are near you. You can search by region and an email can narrow down the location.

Saving the best for last......try to call or visit your local credit union....alot of them make in house loans and if they have to repo the cars, they put them on the bulletin boards there.
