U740 from a Moto Q?

I have the Q right now (verizon), and I am eligible for an upgrade. My Q has been acting up recently, low battery life, freezing, and worst of all, it turns off randomly and I dont know it. I NEED to my phone to be on at all times for my job. Would the U740 be a good phone to go to after the Q? All I use my Q for is the keyboard, thinness, texting, calender, a couple games, a couple programs I bought, the occasional pic, and of course calls. It would cost me $130 to get the U740, worth the money? Thanks in advance.

The u740 has no way of importing or exporting calendar entries as of yet (no sync software, doesn't support Bluetooth vCal objects). Might change in the future if BitPIM ever figures it out. If that doesn't worry you, it might be OK. Have you checked out the LG enV as well? It's supported by Susteen's sync software, supports vCal, and has a QWERTY keyboard, and a slightly better screen. It's thicker though.

My mom has the enV, and its just a little too big for me. I carry my phone in my pocket, so it needs to be thin, especially when im in my Blues. Plus, the enV has keys on the outside to call people, and I hate having to lock my phone. As far as the calender goes, my use of the calender is no more than putting a note on a date so my phone will remind me, I have never synced my Q with my computer, dont need to yet.
