U340 Impulse Problems

Having the exact same problem with my U340's, im gonna try witht he phone closed, although i have never done that beofre on the past like hundred U340s.. well see...
 
yup, still not working, i used unicdma and nothing... my computer does not even recognize it anymore as a modem or port, and samsung pst says disconnected when the phone is in emergency mode and hooked up.. anyone know whats oging on or have a solution??
 
Thank you all , It worked i rewrote the p esn, i was able to activate the phone with the Meid, but the thing is you CAN'T program the phone using *228, it downloaded weired nurabers to the phone, so you have to
manuely program using ##626* Good luck yaa
 
yup no BT, but granted they're only $29 now, down from $39 at walmart..

the u410 does have BT, and web though that runs $49, both are free brew-ible BTW
 
I've noticed that the newest Inpulse u340s have MEIRAB instead of ESNs.....anyone having problems flashing the Cricket bin file on these? I haven't tried one yet, just wondering if anyone else has....

It appears that certain U340's may be unflashable. "9-Pwr on" starts boot mode and the phone appears to brick up at that point. The boot mode screen says:
Bootblock version: u340_xx:XXxx.x

I've got 4 of these phones

Has anyone found a way past this issue? Is there an alternative boot key? (i.e. 7-pwr on) Anything?
 
I've always used 9+Power for that. Try taking out the battery and then do it. My guess is you didn't have it in emergency mode when you tried to flash it the first time.
 
Have you tried using CDMA Workshop (latest version). This phone has an SPC even though it's Verizon (but Prepaid). CDMA Workshop will give you SPC, then just "Zero Out" and you can flash using whatever program you need even Samsung PST. Same goes for U350 only this has a 16-digit password (1945081520081106) that you need to send first, once this is done it will give you SPC.
