U340 Impulse Problems

I have seen a lot of Target and Walmart U340s that are unreadable. It's been happening for the past couple weeks and only on phone that are recently been purchased as Impulse phones. Has anyone else run across this problem? If so, do any of you have a solution to make this phone readable? I'm still able to read old hanRABets, but not these new ones.

changed this and its still not working.. even tried in emergency mode and nothing.. SAMSUNG PST shows phone as DISCONNECTED..

Also when i plug it in the phone shows up as Unrecognized USB device, this is so frustrating because ive done like over 100 of these phones, and just since last week i have been getting this problem..
 
I must post my mistake since I started this Thread. The problem I was having with the U340 was very basic. Somehow, I had reset the Modem and the Diagnostic Port to the same COM nuraber. After I corrected this mistake and connected to the Diagnostic Port I was able to read this phone. Of course, I had to reset the Port Map to the correct settings.

I'm still trying to find the Correct PSTlite for the U340. If any of you could be so kind to either post it or point me to the correct file I would be greatful. I've downloaded a nuraber of programs that say they work as the PST Lite, but in reality are not. If you have the Lite U340 DLL it would be nice to post that for Cricket as well.

I hate to ask a stupid question. However, hear I go. How do you put the phone in DM mode? I've tried using the standard ways, like CDMA Workshop. I've even tried using Samsung PST, but the phones do not respond at all. I have three different phones purchased withing the last two weeks sitting on my desk not responding. I can get any other U340 purchased about 2 months ago to go into DM mode using the standard process.

Any manual way to do this? I've tried a couple codes to try to get it in DM mode manually, but apparently I don't have the right code.

i know this sounRAB crazy, but you must make sure the phone is closed. This held me up for an hour... it will not go to dm mode with the phone open. Then run samsung pst use the verizon dll with crk bin 27. make sure you are using seperate com ports for modem and diagnostics
 
I can repair the esn on u340 after flashing the cricket .bin files but i have not been able to figure out how to repair the MEID on these phones somone just mentioned that is possible,, PLEASE Share with us the way to do it. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE
 
ok its this simple meid have a pesn that is paired with it so just write the pESN to the phone. now as soon as u give the meid dec to customer care the phone will work in fact if a cricket dealer activiate the phone they need to know meid dec and pESN hex to activiate the phone when using a converter you get this if put in meid hex
