You should see the passion on the streets after last night's game... People came out of all the pubs in the CBD and blocked off the ENTIRE main street of Sydney... The Police had no idea what to do!
 
We have to force our nationals to play in Europe from now on. MLS is a rigged league and a joke for the most part. It's low-level kickball with dashes of Mexican soccer thrown in (the pushing, finger-waving, and diving) so the folks in Texas and Florida can relate to the game.

I fucking hate this. No effort was put out today by that team. They just mailed it in and took it in the ass like a bunch of whipped faggots.
 
it's easy to say that... I kinda feel conned. But, then again, why shouldn't we feel optimistic about such a great team? We certainly didn't expect to lose this bad, though.
 
yeah however on the other hand we don't have high school teams as you have in the US where students stay in school till afternoon 5 days a week to practise under very good conditions ina very competitive way

after that you can go to college...imho in the US there are ways to succeed as a player of almost any type of sport - no country spends even nearly as much as the US, why do you think you're so good at the olympics every year - it's (almost) all about the $$, the support of talents, so you're right in this point.

however imho the US gives many opportunities to sport talents
