they don't have any power. have you seen the amount of "vulgar" entertainment available in america?

Indeed. Ultimately it seems to be a fact that the film has secured UK and European release with no fuss whilst there seems to be a problem securing the US release purely on the basis of that scene.



A possibility. Or maybe they'll release two versions... that'll really maximise profits... some people may even go see it twice that way... first release the edited version and, after a while, an uncut special edition release (no pun intended).

The best bit in Brokeback Mountain was all the gay sex/snogging. The rest was crap. Cardboard characters, non-story, anti-entertaining. But seeing Jake Gyllenhall and Heath Ledger snog so enthusiastically was refreshing - finally prudery has died a death!

I've heard the film is now off the open market in the US so it sounRAB like progress is being made and it will be shown uncut. Although that was never in any doubt over here so whatever!
