a hurricane is going to clean up the gulf this year anyways so why does it matter?
 
nobody said they have a magical solution, but if the mother fuckers can have nasa put a man on the moon, i think they can come up with some sort of solution with BP's help.

The government did fuck up, but, it probably didn't matter in the scheme of things. There was a bunch of equipment that by law the feds were supposed to have on hand to help deal with spills, that, of course, they didn't have. I don't know exactly what that stuff was, or if it would have actually made a difference though
