Types of Buddhist Meditation?

I've been doing Mindfulness of Breathe Meditation every morning when I wake up. I'd like to start meditation before I go to bed as well and was curious of what meditation I should do. Should I do Mindfulness of Breathe, Loving Kindness or something else? Does it even matter? Should I rotate? I'm new to this whole thing, so any help is much appreciated.
