TX hanging during hotsync with Outlook 2003

Hello all,
Am new to both this site and to the Palm TX (used an iPaq for a number of years before).

I love the TX and all it can do for me, but I have not been able to successfully hotsync it once with Outlook 2003 following the initial installation on the PC!

Every time it start hotsync it goes okay until it hits the following file: "AdditMyPalm-Contents.pdb" - after which it hangs indefinitely, only to be "unhung" through closing the hotsync through TaskManager.

It's driving my nuts as I can't use my TX this way!

Any help would be highly appreciated, and a big thanks in advance!!!

If you don't use the Addit application, you can disable the conduit. Do the following:

Right click on Hotsync Icon --> Click Custom --> Click Addit --> Click Change --> Select Do Nothing --> Click OK --> Done

You might want to try reinstalling the desktop software and or doing a soft reset. I don't use Addit, but I think it requires a internet connectivity because it checks for software updates.

You might also want to check this Palm link . THere is a problem with Addit looping during a hotsync.

Addit is a third party application by Bluefish Wireless .You might want to check their site for info as well.
