TX Battery 100%

I bought my TX for around 1 month ago.

It seems to work perfectly.
However, in the previous few day, the deveice consistantly display my battery at 100% w-out any re-charge.

It is the battery detection software has ceased to work?
Shoudl I call technical support or return&exchange the device?
 
Your TX is still very new.

How long have you used it for over the past few days?

If you havent used it much then there is a chance it will be close to 100% full (Note: Indicator is not 100% accurate).

Ahh and another thing, you dont leave it plugged into your computer (USB) do you? because that charges it.

yeah. how often do you use the device? and yes if you leave the device connected to the usb port of your PC, it will charge it, that's what we call "trickle charge"... but anyway, try doing a "soft reset" by pressing the reset button at the back..
 
If is is like the T3, do the soft reset while it is plugged in to the charger, or USB. This is supposed to reset the battery indicator also, but only if it is plugged in when you reset. My Tx (I had the T3 prior) almost never goes less than 3.99 or 100%. I am so used to the T3 needing to be charged after just a few hours or non-continuous use, the Tx is a blessing. Enjoy it.
 
The Battery dropped to 97% after I played a game on it for an hr,
so I guess it is functioning normally right now,
thank u for ur opinion.
 
With 4 automated backups occurring at different times/days of the week, Battery life as drbaer says on the T3 is getting a little annoying.

Permanent landscape (except for TinySheet) and what appears to be double the battery life, is making me lean toward a TX as drbaer did, since nothing "new" seems to be coming. I'll miss some T3 abilities, but can live without them.

His advice to you was important and valuable - the cradle soft reset can really make a difference. Don't bother with any "battery extenders" or "minimum voltage changers." They crap and can do damage. Also, since you're at 97% now after a game (fantastic useage!!) - I wouldn't necessarily bother with the cradle reset right now if you haven't already done it. As Camski said, "it's new." Leave it alone and enjoy - plenty of time later for tweaking!!
