The gravitational ? Two small celestial objects have masses m1 and m2 and are separated by a distance R.
The gravitational force between the two masses is 100 N. What is the new
gravitational force when
a. the mass of each object doubles and the separation also doubles?
b. the mass of each object remains the same but the separation triples?
c. the mass of each object is halved and the separation doubles?
d. m1 doubles, m2 triples and the separation doubles.
