Two questions about my Toyota Corolla?

Hey I have a 2008 Toyota Corolla and there's two things about it that really drive me crazy and I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix it.

First of all, how the hell do you turn off the damn seat belt alarm, that thing is the most annoying thing in the world!

And second, is there any way to turn off the lights if your just chilling in the car. Like if you manually turn them off with the switch on the steering wheel, they just stay on.
 
first of all are you wearing your seat belt? If you aren't that may be why the alarm is coming on. and as for the light you might check your fuses and wiring to see if they are faulty.
