Two Days In Paris - A Warning

I would like to warn people who may be about to make the same mistake I did.

As I have discovered the hard way, this film is NOT a sequel to the Paris Hilton sex tape One Night In Paris. It's just like some weird cr*p about relationships or culture or something.

You will probably also find that the cinema cashier stubbornly refuses to refund you, even when you patiently explain this most understandable of errors.

Probably a good thing its not a sequel to the infamous tape because considering what she gets up to in a night, after two days she'd be walking like John Wayne! ;)

I think I'm actually going to get out and see the film for real this weekend. I loved Before Sunrise/set with Julie Delpy (though those were with the obviously vital contribution of Richard Linklater and Ethan Hawke) and I hear this is in a similar vein, so I have high hopes.
 
It's actually very funny. Adam Goldberg (the psycho flatmate in FrienRAB, amongst many other roles) is superb and Delpy tears into French stereotypes with a vengeance. And although we don't actually see any Paris Hilton-style activities, they are very much part of the story - and imagining Julie Delpy has got to be better than seeing Paris Hilton.
