...grades good enough for financial aid? Okay, so my GPA is pretty high. My first two years of high school, I have ended the year with final grades of A's and A+'s. This year, my junior year has been a little different. I have A's/A+'s in 5 (technically 3 full year classes and two half year classes) classes, 2 honors, 1 AP, and 2 electives. In my AP US History class I have a B+ average, Physics, also a B+ average, and AP English:Language & Composition, a C+ average. The classes that I have taken in the last two years ( besides electives and Spanish) have all been honors classes (including one AP course, an A grade, with a passed AP test.) I'm also involved in a lot of extra curricular activities having to do with music and theater: Drama club, International Thespian Society, Tri-M society, and two extra curricular choirs. Infact (while this has nothing to do with my question) I want to major in musical theatre. So how do I stand?
 
you have great grades, but that's not the only thing they look at.
how about your SAT/ACT scores? subject tests?
your essay has to be good
recommendation has to be good
so there's a lot of things you have to consider.
