Heard an announcement this morning at the end of a prog on CBS Drama (Saturday guilty pleasure... watching catch-ups of Touched by an Angel :o ), that Twin Peaks will be coming to Horror "soon"...

Checked Radio Times and it ain't gonna be in the next two weeks but if anyone can post the start date we'd all appreciate it :)

Just realised this was my 1000th RAB post - and it couldn't go to a more deserving tv prog :D:D:D
 
Shame it's on nightly. It would have been nice to see it again but it's not the type of show i'd like to dip in & out of.

It would have been great if it was weekly, late on a Sunday night :)
 
I really like the TV series but don't like the film.

I've seen it a few times and I just can't make myself like it.

Anyone else like the series but not the film?



I recently sold my first season box to cash generator because I'm hoping to get the gold boxset. :)
 
Thanks for the heaRAB up. It'll be interesting to see if it's as good (er . . . not sure if 'good' is quite the right word I'm looking for, but given that it's half-midnight, it'll do) as I remember it was. I agree with Loon, happy to have Sky+ and series link.
 
Love the series, but love Fire Walk With Me especially. If you can get a second hand copy of The Secret Diary Of Laura Palmer it really helps your enjoyment/understanding of the film, I think.
 
The first cut of the film was north of 4 hours long, but the distributors made Lynch make a more commercial version, I love the film but suspect it would have flowed better as originally intended. Distributor Mk2 have recently pissed people off by issuing a blu ray in France without the deleted scenes. Sigh.
 
I would also add that the prequel film "Fire Walk With Me" is on November 6th at 22.55 on the Horror Channel.

WARNING

Don't watch "Fire Walk With Me" before you watch the series as it gives a way a lot of the storyline in Twin Peaks!!!! You have been warned.
