Yes and no... I won't give you details because you said no spoilers, but their relationship is very differing in the next 3 books. Hope this Helps!
 
Okay so I havn't read them all, but I recently finished the first book. I'm not asking for spoilers, let me make that clear!
I know everyone says that Bella and Edward are really cute and how they love them together, but it bothers me that Edward loved Bella because he likes her "smell"

Will there be a point in the next few books where I will get to see their relationship as more than something childish or no?
 
Well, In Twilight he doesn't just like her because of her smell. It's her smell that first really brought her to his attention. But then he made an effort to talk to her to get to know her so that he would be able to think of her as more asa person because how good her blood smelled often distracted him. And as you read further on in the series you get more insight into their relationship. So I would definatly consider reading them.
 
YES!!! O MY GOSH! it really is not so childish in book 3 that's like when they're both a bit more serious into their relationship
 
In the next books, Edward says somewhere that he would rather she didn't smell like that. So yes, I think you will.
 
well, in the next feww books, you will see their love grow
but if you look at the first book
he also attracted to her because he can't read her mind
 
In new moon edward says to bella it would be better if he left her and so he does and she is all like into riding motobikes and stuff then alice comes back.I can't remember much but Edward comes back and yeah i forget what happens next.it isnt childish cause he leves cause he loves her.i hope thats not a spoiler.
