Twilight (New Moon) Offical Feedback

Loved the first Twilight, I going next week to See the new one, what your feedback on it without spoilers, I have heard Really bad reviews and some ok reviews from imdb.
If you seen it can you let me know. Is it worth seeing.

Well i loved it, sticks very much to the book and the Potter directors could learn a lot on how films can be faithful to the source material.

All of the main 3 cast are brillient and Kristen has really improved as was not convinced by her in Twlight.

So if you love the books then you should love the film as its so faithful, a few things added of course but the things added just made it better:D

I haven't read the books and I fell asleep before this one finished, so I'm going to have to go and watch it again to see the end. It was better than the original Twilight and overall a much better film. Very cheesy though; 'you have a cut on your head (why she was riding a motorbike for the first time without a helmet anyway, I don't know), here let me remove my whole top to put on your bleeding cut and reveal my new set of abs' :p

While i personally hated the first Twilight, you should never trust Imdb user ratings. In the first few days of release of most films you'll generally find that haters with nothing better to do will give it a bad rating for no reason other than the fact that they are biased against it. It's the same over on TV.com, especially with cult shows like Family Guy.

However, in this instance i'm inlined to believe the 1/10 rating, lol.

I went to see this last night. I didn't go in with high hopes given the standard of the first film. Now I did enjoy the first one but I'm well aware it's complete crap. New Moon for me, while I enjoyed it mroe than the first, it's only marginally better.

I found some of the scenes laughable. They just seemed to awkward. Lines weren't delivered very well. And as much as I love the cast, their acting isn't fantastic. Maybe it's because they ain't given much to work with.

Of course for everything that was bad, there were things I loved. Michael Sheen for example. I really was excited about seeing him in it!

The IMDB score is meaningless.

Fans will complain that "haters" bring down the score by giving it a 1 - probably true, but there'll be far more TwiharRAB giving it 10 (and sadly, probably even BELIEVING it's the best film of all time) when it really averages about 5.

EDIT: But the soundtrack is awesome.

Here's my review:

"Truly awful piece of toss that is designed to make adolescent girls sexually excited.
In other worRAB - a great big steaming pile of donkey pap".

0/10

First part was boring, second part was great. The 2nd part definitely made up for the first part.

I'd give the first part 4/10
Second part 9/10

Overall 7.5/10

I preferred Twilight.

Saw it this afternoon and loved it. It is not aiming to win Best Actor Oscars and, when it comes to bringing the book to life, it does the job very well.

Loved Edward and the Cullens - some real development there.

Bella less irritating but I struggle to see her as the heroine on screen as much as I do in the books.

Didn't like Jacob as much, wooden acting at times.

Thumbs down for the constant removal of shirts (mainly because of the screaming teenagers, in the comfort of my own home I'm sure I'd enjoy it!)

Big thumbs up for the Volturi.

Ending was hilarious, purely because of the reaction in the cinema when the credits rolled!!!

New Moon is probably my least favourite of the books but was a big improvement on screen.

And no, I'm not a teenager, I'm in my 30s!!!! But as Jacob said, age is just a number!

I found it had more humour than Twilight, and I really liked that :D

Thought the beginning was very clever, and a great cliff-hanger ending. But that makes it sound like I hated the middle, which is wrong. I LOVE ALL OF IT. Easily the best movie ever, and better than Twilight. Can't wait to see it again

It was annoyingly crap, full of terrible teenage "angst" and its dialogue and plotting made Harry Potter look complex and well written.

Its a good film, I think it was better than Twilight.. I thought the actors seemed more sure of the characters which made a huge different but one major major thing I have to say..

Go to an over 18 screening if you can. or one at a time where it isn't going to be full of teenagers. I'm not some old fuddy duddy by the way, I'm only in my 20s, but the screening I went to was sold out except for a handful of seats and the continual "oooooohhh" and "awwwww" and sighing at every topless guy and cheering and clapping and whooping everytime something happened or Jacob appeared was REALLY offputting. Not to mention the really inconsiderate girl sat next to me who actually checked her phone every 5 minutes throughout the film!

I was bored mindless!!!

The gf can't decide whether it was any good, she loves the books and been telling me about all the bits that are not the same as the book and how it not that close to the story...
