Twilight- final film trailer now released

They cut out the whole 'Do I dazzle you?' part, which I was a bit gutted about. They also combine the girls choice dance and the prom, so Tyler doesnt ask Bella to the prom and Edward doesnt turn him down :) There is no mention of Denali at all either. And nothing about Carlisles story really, only how he changed them. And they dont feature Jasper hardly at all (I'm not his biggest fan), they dont mention his power, and he doesnt really develop at all, just spenRAB the whole film looking freaked out.
Everyone who has already seen it seems to be under the general impression that as long as you dont compare absolutely everything to the book, you'll like it, but if you keep missing parts from the book that arent in the film, you wont enjoy the film as a stand-alone, if that makes sense! Definately wanna see it again when it comes out though!
 
I like the look of it. Well Rob Pattinson anyway. Gotta love a guy with a similar surname to me. When does it come to the UK?
 
I couldn't finish the book because I thought Stephanie Meyer's prose was appalling but I think it could be good as a film. The trailer has me more intrigued than the book did, so I'll probably go and see it and keep an open mind.
 
i ditto kezby_2k in how could they cut out the 'do i dazzle you' part =- its like my fav!! and the whole 'so the lion fell in love with the lamb...' not how i pictured it!
they did cut out ALOT but saying that i loved the film, just wished they'd kept more in it. one of my favourite scenes, where bella goes to the nurses room after seeing blood inbiology and edward takes her ,was cut out...gutted love that part!
there wasnt as much of a build up as in the novel and i guess if you havent read the books the whole thing would have been 'wtf?' nothing really gets deeply explained in the film. and i wanted more cullen-ness. i did love the ballet studio scene though.
but yeah what they did include was good in my opinion. just wish there was more!
 
Yup I totally agree - I was a bit gutted about DIDY not being there. I thought it was strange how they didnt mention the volturi or Denali though really. Especially considering they are gonna have to bring at least one of those up in the second film...
I just think its gonna have a knock-on effect. The more important bits they cut out of the first movie, the more they will have to explain in New Moon. So the more of New Moon they have to cut out to bring in bits from twilight. If that makes sense!

Looking forward to this. I have read the book and i suprisingly liked it and i hope the film is as exciting and enjoyable.
 
Probs not on UK tv unless the odd spot as it's not widely known in the UK apart from the tween book circuit.

It's already in the Odeon cinemas, not see it in Cineworld/Picturehouse though.
