Twilight: Dakota Fanning in a lead adult role, at 15??

If you had read the actual book you would know that Jane is described like this . . .

Now it would be totally stupid to have a 22 year old actress play her as you said, which is why Dakota is perfect for the role, she still has the angelic childlike look but a lot of acting experience. She is going to be perfect in the role!

She may be an oldie but she still has the body and looks of a 12 year old! :p

Plus she is only gonna be in this movie for about 5 minutes if that she isn't a leading role really!

Dakota Fanning is excellent in anything I've seen her in, the older she gets the better her acting gets and what surprises me is how down to earth she is too, she is a cheerleader in her High School, lol. Yes, she goes to high school and doesn't get home-schooled like Miley, Demi, Selena, and co. I think she'll have a bright future ahead of her and if any child-teen actress can make a transition from child-acting to acting as an adult career in Hollywood then she can!

Egg on face to the OP haha :D

Like gorgeousgirl said Jane is basically a child in appearance in the book.

She is the perfect choice for Jane and yea she doesn't have the lead either :p

Exactly its pretty clear they hadn't read the books and were just trying to be clever. They needed to get the facts straight before ranting on about how Dakota wasn't right for the part.
