Twelve Animated Films Submitted for Oscar

It's a possibility, but the reviews aren't overwhelmingly positive and I don't think the Academy wants to award two films in the same genre in a row. I could see it getting nominated if the Academy shies away from the "fun/odd" category this year or if they continue not getting Anderson and snub Blood... Though in those cases, I'd get scared that instead of Gangster, they'd ignore reviews in favor of their love of Haggis and give Valley of Elah a spot.

i don't know, i saw a montage of Starscream clips that totalled a disappointing minute+. I don't even think the 'Screamer was on screen for more than two minutes. The other bots, though brilliantly depicted, probably had scarce on-screen time as wel; perhaps how the film for made for approx. $150M (Bay's estimate)

i wonder if anyone's actually timed screentime for all the 'bots and 'cons?

just like Venom in SM3, he had like what...5-6 minutes of actual screentime?

They could pass some of these out...grease the wheels a bit.

A while back the Acadamy announced that they'd be tightening up the rules when it comes to mo-cap.

(It's worth noting, though, that just because Alvin and Beowulf have made this list doesn't mean that the won't be booted out later on. Remember what happened to Arthur and the Invisibles?)
