i am getting a new tv for the bedroom but i dont have an aerial socket in fact the only one in the house is downstairs in the lounge, i currently have an old portable 14" in the bedroom thats just died.we used an analogue aerial that connects into the back of the portable and needless to say the reception was bad, if i get the new LCD tv with built in freeview, will i need to pay out to get an aerial extension fitted to the wall or can i make do with a make shift aerial that just sits on the top of the TV?
