TV shows you think should be axed

Definitely agree with the posters who mentioned Who Wants to be a millionaire and BGT. Millionaire is old and past its sell by date and BGT has become really boring. The last series wasn't that great really, I got bored with it during the live shows.

My suggestion make that slot a retro slot with programmes like:

Barnaby Jones
Cannon
The Rockford Files
Streets of San Francisco
The Phil Silvers Show
Columbo
McCloud
CHiPS
Beverly Hillbillies

That would probably be my number one choice as well - along with Loose Women which is just four hags being sexist and bitter for an hour... and as well as soaps, which are just an attempt at social engineering - especially the dreadful EastEnders.

I hate how DOND encourages greed to the point it does. Anyone who acts disappointed over winning 10K is an undeserving tw*t. It's disgusting.

Agree to a point but the ITV shows you have listed are what makes money for them...I guess they are just waiting for the next BBC hit show they can copy :)

I quite liked Take me out, good light entertainment.

A comedy that is on now that is awful, school of comedy. I can't believe it got renewed, who finds it funny?

It's a bit repetitive and predictable really, I think the format has become really stale and unless they can change the format of the show in the next few years there's a good chance of it being axed.

I think X Factor has still got a bit of life in it, but Britains Got Talent is definitley in need of being put to sleep.

Can't stand
Who wants to be a millionaire?
Deal or no deal
Weakest Link

Countdown?! What's wrong with that? They do pad it out a bit with waffle, when it could easily run for just 30 minutes, but surely Countdown is harmless and even educational?

Countdown is one of the few gameshows left with any class and dignity to it. One of the few where the contestants aren't encouraged to be aggressive, greedy, ignorant tossers. It's a shame that so few gameshows have gone that route...I used to love watching gameshows but not now.
