Tv programmes/Sketches not as funny as you remember them to be

Well I think it's one of those that will stand the test of time. The characters and situations will never get old because they are real. Not even David Brent is much of an over-exaggeration of real ******** bosses.

I'm Alan Partridge and Father Ted will never date, I'm convinced of that. I find it impossible not to laugh when any episode of those two comes on. Ted in particular is timeless because it almost feels like it's set in another world!
 
Morecambe and Wise. It's a real shame because I hadn't seen them for decades, so I bought a DVD of their first series from the 70s, and I just couldn't see anything even slightly amusing in it. But I suppose the real disappointment was that I wasn't sitting on a sofa in my jammies between mum and dad on a Saturday night in the early seventies.
I've learnt to leave the early stuff alone now. Some people get upset by nostalgia programmes, but for me it's worse - I just get bored by them.
 
I feel that way about "Porridge".The series is 36 years old & it still makes me laugh today.The same goes for "Rising Damp" which is also 36 years old.
 
With me it's Little Britain and Bo Selecta. At the time, as a one off, they were funny. However, the fun died down when you know what to expect. I think both series ran for one series too long.

One sketch show I still find funny is French and Saunders. The Bjork clip is one of my all time favourites :D

I used to have an episode on VHS but accidentally taped over it :(
