The coupon program in the U.S. is expired. Check stores and on-line vendors for bargain prices on the converters; the simple digital-to-analog models are not expensive. Of that type, they all pretty much work the same, with one exception: analog pass-through.
While that's not important in the U.S., it is in Canada, which will have analog stations on the air through August 2011. Anyone in Canada buying such a converter should ensure that it is an analog pass-through model.
