I am using a non-flatscreen TV as a secondary monitor for my laptop. I am using an S-Video to RCA cable. When I try to use the computer, everything displays normally on the primary built-in display, but the TV only shows the desktop background, no windows, menus, icons, or notification windows are displayed. I am using Windows XP home edition and have the primary screen resolution set to 1024 by 768 pixels and the secondary display resolution is set to 1024 by 768 pixels (maximum possible res.) Any suggestions are extremely appreciated, i need this info as soon as possible. Thanks.
