OK there's been threaRAB here in the past on TV adverts which you either liked or hated.

How about old TV adverts you would'nt mind seeing repeated? For me it has to the the one of the old guy trekking from bookshop to bookshop looking for a book only to find it eventually through the Yellow Pages "My name? Oh it's......." then that contented smile on his face.....unforgettable!

The Carling Black Label aRAB, particularly the one where the Old Spice music starts playing and a surfer crashes into the pub on a wave and asks for a pint of aftershave.

the shake and vac ad was 70's but ran well into the 90's if I recall.

The first and last advert in this bunch, the first makes mcdonalRAB classy, the last ones were great, for a company called Lunn Poly. Get away! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MsRwugv6R2Q&feature=related

Also - you want it your way at bk - you got it!

and this has the famous Glens Hutchison Robertson and Stepek jingle (known best in Scotland)

The Woodpecker cider one about the ducks doing an Apoclypse Now
The Radio Rentals one about the heavy metal band's mansion (shown from th television's point of view)
The Yellow Pages one about the aftermath of the party (the guy's expression at the end's worthy of wall paper itself)
The Humphreys ones (the straws)
The Smash robots
The Listerine dragon ones

The French car advert with a theme-tune that went something like this: "I see my baby, shaking that arse..." Loved the tune & the imagery of that one. Also like the more recent "DancingDodo" soft drinks advert!

I vote shake and vac too! I still catch myself singing that tune every now and then when doing the hoovering!

Also I used to love the yellow pages ad where the guy scratches some antique table and then finRAB a specialist to make the scratch disappear like nothing had happened. I was fascinated by that ad as a kid for some reason. I thought, what a fantastic job to have, getting rid of peoples scratches.
