Tutorial for Samsung U410 with WAP, incoming MMS and possibly U520, U540, A870, more.

You have been a great help. I'm sorry we were not able to get this phone's mms working. If anyone has the U470 DLL for SPST let me know. Thanks.

I think I bricked mine. Constantly searches for service, won't do *228. It reaRAB fine in cdma workshop and Samsung PST, but it will not work. Is there a way to recover this, or just trash it?

Thanks radom.....got it working again. It reverted back to the default Verizon settings when I tried to write the Brew settings back to the phone. Odd.

I don't know yet if the Brew settings work because I can't pry the phone away from my Daughter's ear.......

Also just realized this phone supports tethering. It wouldn't be hard to get that working by only changing a couple more NAI's on the MMC file while in SPST. That makes this a good candidate for flashing. Although the internet is a little lacking in pace.

trash it in a box with a shipping label attached and addressed to me...lol

i think there is something posted around here for that

it's not written for that phone, but i'm pretty sure i saw it somewhere

you could always try a firm flash fi there is a .bin floating around somewhere

go to menu>settings>press #>port map>make sure its on usb, usb, and null for the 3 options respectively. If it still doesn't work its most likely bc its a sprint phone, not verizon. you would have to get unipst and a good dll. But really, just follow the instinct guide and you'll probably get WAP runnin

i flashed it with no problem however, some people say you can get pic mess and some say you cant. well i cant. please help.
what do i need to do to get pic mess.
REMOVED...call me if you need to
