Lots of that spray and wipe stuff works pretty darn good, but isn't a replacement for a good hand rub polish job of some sort every now and then, especially on a vehicle that sits outside. Now, a every day garaged vehicle might be a different story.... I use the cheaper Turtle Wax Wax & Dry between hand rubs on my Mercedes. I usually don't even wash the car, I just rinse it off with a strong jet of water, spray the Turtle Wax, and wipe it dry. The car is 23 years old and looks like it has a new paint job on it.

You probably have one of the servants do it ..right?...LOL Just kidding! I do a good cleaner wax and then a hand rubbed Carnuba wax once a year. Between, I use the good cheaper stuff. works for me!

I love ICE. Its great stuff, and I use it on every part of my bike except the tires and brake rotors. It makes the black engine casings look really good, and its amazing to see water bead on them!

xxx,
Just regular silicone spray?
What kind do you get. Whats it say on the bottle?

I've used both in the past and I'm sticking with "Ice", the "no residue" is pretty key, nothing cleans up easier. The only times I've had an issue is when it's really humid out, the wax never really dries and seems to smear when you try to wipe it off. But if it's not humid it goes on and comes off really easy.
