Turning my fish tank into a lizard tank?

We used to have a 39 gallon fish tank that was just fresh water. We recently decided to get rid of the fish and put lizards in there. However, we have noticed that since draining the tank there is a cloudy haze on the tank that nothing seems to get rid of. We have tried...Kaboom, CLR, Lime Away, Hot water and a razor blade, Windex. You name it we've probably tried it! Any ideas?! We don't want to buy a new tank. Also, when it gets wet it disappears but as it dries the cloudiness comes right back! Please help!
 
It's probably just mildew or something that has soaked into the glass (so outside cleaners wouldn't have helped). I would try letting is soak overnight with bleach in it. If that doesn't work yo may just have to deal with it or get a new tank. I had a fishtank that did this and i never bothered with it.
 
i have the same problem and i used a product called Bedazzled and it worked wonders with little scrubbling.
