speedy, I actually had a VK2020 in my possession a few days ago... for a few hours. I had to send it back, and exchanged it for a Samsung P300 instead. The outgoing volume was just too low for people to hear me well. While the seller and I were discussing whether the replacement should be another 2020, he called me from it, and the volume was low, but not uselessly low as happened to me. I get the impression that there are glitches with various network equipment, and that the 2020 suffers from inadequate field testing on North American equipment. If you really want a VK, I advise that you stick to sellers who allow exchanges or returns.
This is too bad, because the 2020 was much lighter and had rounded corners -- a more pocketable phone than the P300, despite being essentially the same size. I really wish that it had worked better.
