Turn Signal to Running/Turn/Brake Light conversion kit

Been doing a search for this for my 2008 C90 with no luck, do not really want to add lights just improve what I have, found some for other years but not the 08, anyone install these and do you have a link where i can find them.

If I remember correctly some guys are changing out the single pin 1156 socket to a 2 pin 1157 socket. This will allow to run standard 1157 bulbs, have running lights and blinkers.
 
Hmmm!! Now that you mentioned that, I had done that before on some other bike I had years ago, I remember I went to napa for the socket. will have to look into it.

Thought you were looking at a run/brake/turn controller, like from Kuryakyn. The splice into the wiring and fit all years.

The one you linked to is a set of LED lights that go inside your existing light- they won't fit post-2004s because Suzuki changed the shape of the lenses. These suck anyways, as you can't see them during the day.
 
Your right DrBob I am, I posted the wrong link for what I am looking for. Do you have the Kuryakyn link handy? If not I can look it up. I know I can change the socket for duel element bulbs but I really wanted plug n play so no splicing is done.
 
OK checked with Kuryakyn and it seems they do not make one for the C90 only the C50 & M50 at least this is what they show on there website. I will have to call them monday to see if it is available for the C90.
 
A few other LC owners are using this in place of their rear reflector, the one just below the brake light. You can also order a chrome bezel for it. It can be programmed to strobe or just solid. Apparently it is very bright. Mine is on the way.

If you want to be really adventurous you can use these stems from HD, and Kury signals using this controller

Gets kinda spendy real fast!!
 
Yes I did that on my C50, Replaced the side reflectors with lights and the reflector below the tail light. The C90 does not have the reflectors on the rear like the C50s. It was nice you already have the brackets to attach the lights.
 
Controller number 4710 works just fine with your bike. They don't make a plug and play version for the C90, but installation of the regular one is a snap and you save 30 bucks for the extra 5 minutes of your time.
 
Yes, the Kuryakyn 4710 works with all Suzuki cruisers. When I first put one on a Suzuki cruiser years ago I could not find clear lenses, so I lightly spraypainted the inside of the amber lenses and they lit up red. Eventually I went to clear lenses with 1146R bulbs (the R means they are red).
 
Thanks DrBob..........I ordered the clear lenses and I also bought red 1146 LED's.....now I just have to figure out if I will tackle the electrical connections for the Run/Brake Controller or am I best to take it into the dealer........to bad you didn't live closer.......
 
Well Sleeman's is abouta 10 min drive from my place........I could bering the Sleeman's and the controler....:)

P.S....still way to much snow here but about 7 weeks until spring.....hurry up....
