Turn a Classic into a classic

I have been riding a 51 pan for over tweenty years now, & have just bought a new RKC. I will alway like my panhead, but I love my Road king. I bought the road knig because it reminds me of my pan. check out the pic of them both getting along. they live under the same roof, my garage. Nothing wrong with having electric start 12 volt light & oh yeah a 6 speed tranny.

I love this thread, some truly stunning rides. I posted a few pics of mine earlier but before the mods done over the summer so here are a few new ones.

Any ideas about the bags? Old lady doesn't like hard-bags but I love the extended look. Not sure if leather extended would look right though. Any thoughts?

Yes, Cycle Sounds 3.5" speakers. Great for around town cruising, useless for highway riding. I have them wired into accessory switch so, when I can't hear the sounds, I switch 'em off.

Thanks Jim, I've never seen extended leather bags, was sort of hoping someone else had done them so I could get an idea what they look like. I'm not convinced they would do anything for my scoot but...

I've also wondered about extended leather bags, the hard ones look great,if anyone that's following this thread has ever seen any,in mags or whatever, let us know.I've tried messing around on my PC in paint but that was fruitless!

It's not a FLHRC ... but I was going for a real nostalgic 'classic' look so hope you don't mind if I contribute a couple of photos ...

and with some baggage ...

this is an example of where I was getting my inspiration ... the early Duo Glides ...

Cheers ...
