This is a great thread and gave me some good ideas--I need to post up some new pics since these.

Since these--
I lowered the rear about 1 inch (went from stocker air to progressive 440s in 12 inch). Very nice mod.
Got rid of the rear grab rail and relocated the license below the rear tail light (smooth clean rear fender now)
Replaced the stock cow-bell horn with a small old school round horn from J&P

Next Mods--
I like what Whiskers did with the front fender light. Definetly Nostalgic.
Replace the Sundowner Solo with a Danny Gray or C&C Solo. Looking for a "low profile" solo seat.
I have a 107 BB Kit, Cams, & Heads that needs installing. I'll hire someone to do this for me that has the experience and tools (I do want to help though so I can learn).

Can Highly recommend the Danny Grey Big Seat solo,it is one of the most comfortable seats I have sat on.Initially it feels hard to the touch,but I find I get better support than when I use my touring cushion look seat.And the quality is 1st class.
 
Yes, I was checking out the Danny Grey site last night. Looks like a very nice seat. The Big Seat looks like it would be the one.
I was just about to pull the trigger on a Corbin Solo, but from all the complaints I have been hearing, I'll give that a pass.
Few Questions:
How does it mount?
Does it come with all the needed hardware to mount?
Do you feel it sits you back a bit compared to stock? (I'm 6'4" and the Sundowner makes me feel scrunched up and near sitting on the tank)
What about a passenger pillion? (I ride about 95% solo, 5% with the wife. I could just put the Sundowner back on with that Pillion when she goes. Changing seats isn't that big a deal)

I have the Danny Grey Big Seat Solo on in the signature picture below,I also have a Danny Grey pillion pad on for any short rides for anyone but the missus.It takes me about 1 minute to change from the solo to the Touring seat and then about 30 seconds to fit my quick detach back rest for the pillion.The solo comes with all the required hardware and is a piece of cake to install.It definately moves you back further,but that suits me as I have chubby 508 bars and they come back a lot further than standard as well,I find it allows me to sit back and put my feet up on the H'way pegs and relax in comfort,but I have short legs,so with your longer legs the 2" it moves you back should allow you more room .

I'm about to work on cleaning up my rear-end (...the BIKE'S rear-end, that is...). What solutions have you guys found for relocating the license plate, or at least doing away with the billboard-type look? I've seen a Kuryakyn frame that hangs under the light bar, and it it would also require a different tailight lense with the clear panel underneath. Anyone done it differently?

Now that I see a few without them, the cheesy little reflectors on my crash and bag bars MUST GO!

I'm kind of surprised that more folks here haven't installed the Kury mid-frame, neck, and downtube chrome covers. Is it because nobody has gotten around to it, or because maybe you saw them on another bike and thought it was "too much"? For some reason that big open space at the neck bothers me, but I think you'd have to go all or nothing with those covers.
