Wow I really love the look of these. I've been trying to find a replacement air cover cleaner that I liked for a while and now I've got a couple to choose from. Thanks!

I PM'd Terry1955 a couple of weeks ago asking if they could create a specific site for "All Things Nostalgic"...he was gone to Daytona but just got back. Since I haven't heard from him yet I thoughtsome of you others might alsosend him a note. This is the type of thread that I've sorted through hundreds of other posts searching for new ideas. And I think its been one of the best threads I've read since I've been a member...and some call me a old timer around here.

SendTerry a note and see what he'll do for us. There are a bunch of guys and galsin the Softail forum who would probably enjoya site like that as well. Spend some time looking at the Deluxe's, Springer Classics and Heritage's and you'll see some great retro looking bikes.

Great looking bikes all of you. A word of caution about installing a Goodson A/C. They are not a bolt on deal. You will need to fabricate a backing plate for it and cut a gasket for it also. I had one on my '99 RKC and never really mounted it correctly. Not sure what 2006StreetGlide did for mounting, but it looks pretty good from his pics.

I loved the Goodson. The polished cast metal look was really unique. I've since sold the bike, but here is a picture of the a/c on my classic in case some of you were curious how it would look. Sorry for the bad pic, it is the only one I could find.

Take care-

That a great looking A/C cover I have been playing with some designs for mine for the future. I have alot of fab in my back round, I'm tryin to get my wife to let me get a bridgeport mill...no luck so far.

Thanks for the information on the Goodson's. Cyclesmiths is another good source for some retro A/C's; including a finned model that leans towards Art Deco. Check out their web site:

Well I guess nothing in life should come easy. It'll go on one way or another. I know that Goodson list about 20 different applications including EVO/Early Twin Cam EFI. I pulled the trigger a couple of days ago and bought the same exact same (single rib) Goodson Filter from Shamrock Fabrication (they had a great price and a first name relationship with Goodson-I guess there within 15 miles of each other). Rich made it sound like it was pretty much bolt on, but I'll let everyone know how much work it turns out to be. If you're old bike was a two-tone green/black (I couldn't tell if it was green/black or black/black) then it's the same color combo as mine. Anyway, I've been trying to find something I liked for a couple of years now and your picture only confirmed what I already knew-this was exactly what I was looking for.

Thanks again for the picture. It'll tide me over for the next few weeks until I get mine. Goodson is about two weeks out and I figure it'll probably be another week in transit.

I hope it works out for you...keep us posted. Both stores are a little over an hour away from here so I may have to slip up to Denver soon.

Hello everyone just bought a 07 FLHRC and love the fender trim and saddle bag trim on Whiskers bike! Was wonderin where I might be able ta get that for mine.
