what modification to my 22re motor would have to be done to install a turbo and run 7pounds. as far internal and external performance parts. But if its possible just to run 7pounds stock with intake, headers and flows.

7pounds of what bost? you can but on a gt 42 turbo or someone like that and make 0-65 depending on what you do to it. i would also do your tranny and rods and pistions. everything to make it stronger for it does not break so easy

Unless you plan a car rebuild not just engine, plan on 10,000.00 at least. There are no Toyotas that do not already have a turbo as option that one can be added without tearing engine down and chaning parts and firewall as well as sides and mounts. many parts such as pulleys and new brackets will be needed among many other parts. cheaper to take out engine and expand firewalls and put TC supercharged engine in and then new exhaust and air intake, new suspension, brakes, cross members ect. NO TOYOTAS WILL WORK WITH TURBOS UNLESS THEY WERE AN OPTION SUCH AS ON tc AND OLD 4-RUNNER IN 2001-2. MOST TORQUE YOU WILL GET IS CHANGE ALL FLUIDS INCLUDING REAR END AND Use synthetic fluid as cutting down on friction will add 20-25 lb'[s torque and car will last longer. most you will get otherwise is adding cold air induction ([email protected]) free flow converter (99.000 and borla muffler (100.00) and get maybe 2-4 HP and 6-8 lb'[s of torque which does not make sense. You cannot add a turbo to a non-turbo Supra
