depends on the turbo. with a mid sized turbo your lookin at about 8psi. 10psi tops.
get a better head gasket and head studs and it could hold 10psi fine. again, depending on the size of the turbo.
yes the wastegate controls boost. either an internal wg on the turbo or an external wg on the exhaust manifold.
the oil inlet comes from the back of the block (oil pressure sending unit) to the turbo, then the outlet comes from the turbo to the oil pan.. you need to tap the oil pan.
biggest tip... how long your motor lasts and the power it makes depends almost completely on the tune! engine management is key.
