Turbo charging a 95 Ford Probe?

I have a 95 Ford Probe v6 that I want to turbo charge. I seen kits on ebay for around $1000 to $1500 and I wanted to know which would be the best one to get? Want to run around 10 psi boost and make close to if not more 300 hp. And also how hard would it be to put on myself in a shop?
 
seems like a waste of money if you dont know what your doing..... If you have to pay for Work and labor... its plain stupid to do it. If you are doing it yourself go for it...
