I have a tungsten T and it too is having digitizer problems. I am using a freeware program called DigiFix which sets the digitizer everytime you power up, hotsync or the palm resets.

Another freeware program called DigiMe is also good.

There is a shareware program called AutoDigi that works with OS5. It is the most comprehensive of the lot but is not cheap.

All these programs try to resolve the digitizer problem by setting the digitizer for you.

PalmGear has all the programs I mentioned

Good luck

You should not use digifix or any other program for calibration I try one program before and it put the digi all over the place the home button was located on the middle of the screen. Anyways I Had to do a hard reset and thanks god for Backup Man that saved my life there.
I would go with the regular digi fixer palm gives you or you may just be having a hard reset sometime.

Just my experience !

I would think your problem might be an isolated incident caused by some kind of software conflict. I would just reccommend that Tam J backed up his Palm before trying these programs, as you did.

The Palm Digi fixer was not really much use. I don't think it was to solve general digitiser problems, but to solve a problem where the top right of the screen did not respond to the stylus.

I'm afraid I had digitiser problems all the time I had my TT. Now my T3 I just can't calibrate perfectly no matter how hard I try. The calibrater won't accept my input if I tap in the centre of the targets. It's very frustrating, expecially in Notepad where the pen is miles from where I tap!

I really think these dodgy digitisers should be a PRIORITY for PalmOne to sort in future models.

On the Ipaq I have, I have never had digitiser problems. I think I only ever calibrated it once when it first came. It just shows that good digitisers are possible.
