TT problem- digitzer, button cable or CPU?

I recently did some repair on a Tungsten T and it worked fine for many days then

digitizer trouble. So I took apart and replaced with another screen (I've got three that work) Then I noticed that the screen works, but not when I put the bottom portion of the T on with the button ribbon cable. So I switched that out and no it was worse with the new one so I switched back-

So I can either use it with half missing and not use my keyboard or I can use my keyboard but then half the inputs can't be changed because they need graffiti or tapping the screen. Is this perhaps a CPU processor problem? The other processor I have is kinda wonky itself it leaves the read light on all the time and drains the battery and doesn't let the backlight go on?

Best course? sell for parts and purchase new used Tungsten t or t2 or t3? (I have a keyboard that goes with the set and use it a lot--

or should I just go back to no multimedia and use the most relieable palm I've ever owned- my m130 even better than my e

Your thoughts- and experiences please- It helps to know which models are more rugged and long lasting.

The M130 - many of your additional programs that you got for the T won't work on the M130 OS4 (or was it 3.5) compared to the T's OS5. So that pretty much eliminates going backward.

The T did have digitizer issues and the T3 was probably the best overall for less digitizer issues.

My T5 is fairly stable and now that it's well over 2 years old that's amazing to me but then I'm also not using it hardly at all due to the switch to the Treo 750 (yes Windows Mobile).

I still like the T3 format the best because it was truly pocket sized when collapsed and still has the faster processor which did make for substandard battery life. But if you are near power - it's the best choice in my mind. Next would be a T5 as it's the next best thing IMHO.

Thanks moose man. I've been looking at the T3. The m130 is not a problem as I use it mainly for word processing with docs to go. However, I was beginning to use it for some teaching movies for a student as a tutorial.

I'm scouring ebay for a t2 or t3, I'd prefer the smaller size as well since it travels with me to the library.
