TT dead or just sick ?

hello.... this morning, i wanted to synch between my tungsten and ibook but... the palm screen does not react to the stylus or to... whatever.
i did a few soft-reinit, screen still dead; some hard-reinit but no better or further results obtained...

in short : usual start image is on screen but impossible to obtain reaction with anything but the reset command...
this palm has been used since dec 2002 and i was thinking to offer "him" a bigger sd card for birthday.. maybe that will never come !

any idea ?

I wonder if your digitizer has a loose cable. You might have to open your Tungsten and plug the cable in.

Otherwise, you can consider upgrading to the new T5 next week. ;)
 
i'm kind of scare to open it with my big fingers... but this is the less expensive idea so far....

T5 might wait....

few hours later...

after a search in various drawers, i found a mini cross-screw driver, opened the palm (with a lot of anxiety) push here and there various cable mats and... suddenly i heard the noise... it was alive again....

i did a synch and it's working again fine... too bad, i will not buy the new one next week !
