Now, there is def a huge problem in Africa. And more attention and money should be focused on it.
 
Hey, i don't mean to be a jerk here but what about some donations to Africa and our own homeless people (U.S.). I know they need money(tsunami victims) and they've gotten a pretty penny but don't forget about the rest. Worst of all the thing I worry about the most is whether or not the money will be used correctly. Even in NY there are concerns over proper and actual distrubution of funds. WTF!!! Recall the REd Cross questions and I get irritated and concerned. If I donate I expect it to go to these people who need it. Yes, yes I know that some is used to cover cost of such organizations but come on man, don't use 60 percent on yourselfs,esp. if your a non-profit group.
 
Maybe we should update this thread to apply to those who have lost their homes and way of life to hurricane Katrina. I suppose the links still work; it's just that donations to most of these organizations would most likely find their way to Louisiana and Mississippi anyways, as they rightly should at this time.
