TSN2HD Free Preview Ending

During the Klitschko vs Rahman & De La Hoya vs Pacquiao fights on TSN2HD today there was a message that said:
I guess that means that those of us who are still on the old $10 HD pack won't get it anymore.

There is no way I'm paying $5/month more for TSN2HD. I'll probably be staying with the old pack, since there is so little live HD on TSN2.
 
From all of thier documents online the sports channels in HD are included when you sub to the associated digital channel (SD) version.

There will be a lot of angry ppl if they decided to drop it and force ppl onto new programming packages for just 1 channel. Although it wouldn't really surprise me if they did do it just for the sake of making ppl update thier programming. Nothing they do really suprises me latly.

Has there been any word on the new programming packages? Thought they were supposed to be released on Dec 1 but havn't seen anything changed. Maybe with the take over deal dead that got pushed off?
 
Well , you can not have it both ways ,keep paying for old package and getting new channels for free. If you want more channels you will have to move to the new package.
 
Or complain to the retention dept and get a 40% monthly discount for a year but think they meant if you don't sub to tsn sd
 
If we do lose TSN2HD (which I don't think we will...) what are you really losing?? TSN2 is basically a poor man's PVR for TSN. 99% of the content is just TSN broadcasts delayed by 3 hours.
 
Almost true except that they do offer extra NHL, CFL and Raptors games (as Rogers fans know too well).
 
I agree with Haystack. I think the message should have read that you have to subscribe to TSN SD not HD which is the standard condition unfair as that is.
