OK - a similar problem for me. I was upgraded over the weekend to a 9200, and they've added the HD Pack for 6 months for free.
Problem is there's a number of HD channels I expected to receive that I don't get.
I've called BEV three times in the past two days and, quite frankly, I'm getting pretty frustrated.
The first call I wasn't getting ANY channels (only barker channels) - it was an hour after the installers had left, and there was still no programming. OK - one quick call and I got most of my channels about 15 minutes later.
I called back 17 hours later because 10 channels were missing. The tech on the phone said the channels would be added within 15 minutes - four of my missing channels did appear - the four US West Networks. However, the other six channels I'm missing never appeared.
I called back 2 hours later - about 19 hours after the installation - to find out where these six missing channels were. This tech was particularly unhelpful. He claims - in direct contradiction to the first two techs I spoke to - that I will not receive these six missing HD channels because I'm on a 'legacy package'. I'm subscribed to "Canada's Digital Advantage".
The focus of my frustration is TSN-HD which I am not receiving. I receive TSN-SD as part of my "Canada's Digital Advantage" subscription. I've subscribed to TSN via BEV for over 8 years. I understand the linkage - that you need to subscribe to both the HD Pack AND TSN-SD in order to receive TSN-HD, but the latest word from BEV is that's not enough.
So, can anyone shed some light here? Am I FORCED to upgrade to "genesis" in order to receive TSN-HD, or was this latest tech just uninformed.
The six channels I am not currently receiving are:
TSN-HD (does not appear in Guide)
Discovery-HD (does not appear in Guide)
HDNet (in red in Guide)
RUSH (in red in Guide)
A&E HD (in red in Guide)
Equator (in red in Guide)
