Trying to root MyTouch 3G

Go to menu>settings>applications>manage applications>menu>select all. Now look for the market and see if it says uninstall update, if it does uninstall it and reboot. Also while you are there clear the market cache. What rom are you running and did you have to add the google apps?
 
So far this is the best ROM I've used, no errors or force closing, installed the google ad-ons. This thing runs like a champ, thanks a lot man!
