Trying to remember an AoSTH episode.

There's this one I saw that I don't recall seeing on any episode list. It involved Sonic and Tails going on vacation at some adventure club or something, that was run by an exceedingly lifelike robot working for Robotnik.

The part I remember most was said robot being crushed by a falling Eggman, afterward Eggman started angrily calling him on a phone, not realizing he's sitting on his remains. I always found that part kinda disturbing for some reason, though the way the robot deadpanned "oh, no" when he realized his fate was kinda funny.

Anyone remember this?
 
Sounds like "The Last Resort", which is on the Vol. 2 DVD set. The plot is, Sonic and Tails are invited to a resort where they are given a whole bunch of dangerous activities to do. Obviously it's a trap set by Robotnik. If I recall correctly, there was a recurring 'host' character who would tell them what they were scheduled to do next, which is probably what you're thinking of.
 
Yep, that was the one all right.

I actually find it kinda funny, in retrospect, how cartoons can unambiguously kill off a character as long as its a robot, regardless of how much their behavior or appearance resembles a living character. Reboot was probably the only cartoon to address that, even if it was a little heavy handed.
 
Yeah that would be the Last Resort. And just something interesting, every Sonic series has had an episode called the Last Resort. Intentionally? Probably only on Sonic X's part.
