Thought I might pose this question here as theres an awful lot of Toon fans and there is a chance someone else remembers this - I hope so as I'ld love to know more about this show!

Back in the early 90's when the UK's Channel 4 was a big champion of animation I recorded some stuff on VHS. I rewatched a tape a few years ago and it had an amazingly informative Animation show on it. It was presented as a sort of history of/spotlight program. But the thing was -everything was animated - even the presenter links! And the presenter was basically a yellow suited guy with a paper pad for a head.

The tape I had looked at history of cartoons and gave me my first viewing of Gertie the Dinosaur and Little Nemo as a kid and then moved on to a feature on cats in animation including a Tom and Jerry commerical for a rubbish bin and some indie shorts. It was capped off with a present day look and retrospective of the Zagreb studios (of whom have since slipped out the limelight somewhat - shame as their toons were amazing!)

The only thing is I never got the name of the show (its not mentioned on the tape I recorded) and I dont remember seeing any more of it ever though the tone of the show seemed to hint it was more than one show at least!

Can anyone shed light on this mysterious mystery? : )
