Trying to make stock mufflers louder

I ordered an K&N air filter setup. Once I have it Ill be looking for a exhause setup.
Im really new at this Fuel injection shit.
Although the knock out is the simplest way to go, Things with these new bikes arent like the old days are they??
Have to do some reserch on the V&H and the Reinharts. {Spelling Sucks}!
PLus I really need to reserch the Fuel injection stuff cus honestly, Im an old carb guy and know nothing about This.

I think Ill just keep my muffs stock till winter when I get get some extra cash.

This is too painful to watch. If pleading helps, please put the tools down and walk away. Please, just walk away. You are better off saving up for new mufflers, an AC and fuel management module (PCV, TTS, or whatever else). JMHO. No offense meant by this. I hope this is received well.
 
I fully understand the lacking of funds when it comes to upgrading an EPA bike. I, too, cannot buy what I would like to have. My method will be as follows, and as funds become available: First, buy and install an 09 header pipe(no cat). Second, buy and install stage 1 air cleaner. Third, buy Power Commander V. Fourth, buy FuelMoto mufflers. Install mufflers when Power Commander V is installed. Fifth, go burn some gas and eat some bugs. Check out American Custom for an inexpensive muffler re-core.
 
I'm going to try these guy's soon: www.americancustom.com they can modify your pipes or sell you new ones. They have a great web with sound
of pipes as well.
