Trying to find a book or a series to start..?

I'm real picky when it comes to deciding what to read..i tried reading Dante's Inferno, but didn't really like it. I'm looking for a Fantasy, Romance,Action/Adventure type of book NOT POETRY! lol..i also like books that has to do with warriors or knights like Medieval types..(ill try bookfinder but i want to see if this will help first.)
